The Application Process

  3. Prepare Documents: Gather transcripts, a Statement of Purpose (SOP), and identity documents.

  4. The Offer: Receive your “Offer of Place”—this is required before you can apply for your visa.

  5. Tuition Payment: Pay your fees to receive a Fee Receipt, a crucial document for your Study Permit.


Student Visa (2025 Requirements)

To secure your New Zealand Student Visa, you must provide:

  • roof of Funds: You must show at least NZD $20,000 per year (approx.7 $1,667/month) for living expenses, in addition to your tuition fees.

  • Evidence of Source: Immigration New Zealand requires clear evidence of where these funds came from (e.g., 6 months of bank statements).

  • Medical & Character: Depending on your stay duration, you may need a Chest X-ray and a Police Clearance Certificate.

  • Outward Travel: A pre-paid return flight or evidence of an additional NZD $2,000 specifically for your ticket home.11
